MAGG Profi - Diamond Core Drill M14 - 10 mm
This MAGG Profi diamond core bit is designed for precise and clean drilling of holes in hard materials. Thanks to the integrated cooling paste, it significantly extends the life of the core bit and ensures optimal working conditions without the need for external water cooling.
Technical specifications:
• Diameter: 10 mm
• Thread: M14 (for direct mounting on angle grinders)
• Cooling: Integrated cooling paste
• Application: Dry drilling
Materials for use
The core bit is ideal for drilling in the following materials:
• Tiles and coverings: Ceramic, porcelain (gres), sintered
• Stone: Granite, marble, travertine
• Concrete: Lightweight concrete, concrete slabs (not primarily intended for reinforced concrete)
• Glass: Thin glass, glass blocks (with caution and low speeds)
• Sandstone, slate, terracotta
Key features and benefits:
• High concentration of diamond dust ensures fast material removal and long service life.
• Integrated cooling paste eliminates the need for external water cooling, making work on site easier. It cools the diamond segments, preventing them from overheating and extending the life of the core bit. It lubricates the surface, reduces friction and makes drilling easier. The paste gradually releases during drilling.
• M14 thread allows for quick and secure attachment to most standard angle grinders.
• Precise and clean cuts minimize the risk of chipping or damage to the material being drilled.
• High wear resistance ensures a long service life even with intensive use.
Recommended use and safety instructions:
• Low to medium pressure: Apply only moderate pressure when drilling. Excessive pressure can lead to overheating and damage to the core bit or the material.
• Optimal speed: Use an angle grinder with adjustable speed. For best results and extended core bit life, medium to high speed is recommended (typically 8,000 - 11,000 rpm, depending on the material).
• Vertical drilling: Always drill perpendicular to the surface to ensure even material removal and to prevent damage to the bit.
• Circular motion: A gentle circular motion can be used for more efficient removal of the material and cooling.
• Cleaning: Remove material residue from the bit after use to maintain optimal performance.
• Safety equipment: Always wear appropriate protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and a respirator to prevent dust inhalation.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation of the work area.
• Not intended for hammer drilling!
