MAGG Profi - Diamond drill bit M14 - 20 mm
This MAGG Profi diamond hole saw is designed for widening, shaping and fine grinding of existing holes, but can also be used to create smaller holes in hard materials. It is ideal for trimming and finishing.
Technical specifications:
• Diameter: 20 mm (outer diameter of the working part)
• Thread: M14 (for direct mounting on angle grinders)
• Cooling: does not contain cooling paste
• Application: Dry use / Wet use (recommended for longer life and optimal performance)
Materials for use
The cutter is ideal for working with the following materials:
• Tiles and coverings: Ceramic, porcelain (gres), sintered
• Stone: Granite, marble, travertine
• Concrete: Light and medium-hard concrete products
• Glass: With caution and lower speeds for fine finishing
• Sandstone, slate, terracotta
Key features and benefits:
• Versatile use: Ideal for expanding, shaping and grinding holes, but also for creating smaller holes.
• High concentration of diamond dust: Ensures effective material removal and long life.
• M14 thread: Allows for quick and secure attachment to most standard angle grinders.
• Cylindrical shape: Allows for flexible work inside the hole and creating beveled edges.
• High wear resistance: Ensures reliability even under heavy use.
Recommended uses and safety instructions:
• Shaping and expanding: Best suited for circular motions and creating elliptical or irregular holes, or for fine finishing the edges of already drilled holes.
• Light pressure: Use only light to medium pressure. Excessive pressure will shorten the life of the cutter and can lead to overheating.
• Speed: Use an angle grinder with adjustable speed. Medium to high speed is recommended for best results and extended life (typically 8,000 - 11,000 rpm).
• Cooling: Although the cutter is designed for dry use, occasional immersion in water (or spraying with water) is strongly recommended during extended use. This will prevent the diamond grains from overheating and extend the life of the tool.
• Safety equipment: Always wear appropriate protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and a respirator to protect against dust.
• Ventilation: Ensure sufficient ventilation of the work area.
• Not intended for hammer drilling!
