The METEC digital tape measure with laser rangefinder from SOLA combines two measuring methods in one compact measuring device. Whether on construction sites, in interior design or for professional measuring tasks in the trade – the METEC provides precise results, saves time and increases efficiency. The robust measuring device combines a digital 5-meter (16 ft) tape measure with an integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 20 meters (65 ft). This makes it ideal for short and long distances where both flexibility and precision are required.

The permanent tape brake ensures full control during measurement and the measuring reference point can be flexibly selected on the device at the front or rear.

For longer distances: laser rangefinder
The integrated laser rangefinder is impressive when measuring longer distances, for example in large rooms, on high walls or in hard-to-reach places. With a range of up to 20 meters and an accuracy of ±2 mm, even complex measurements such as indirect distances can be made quickly and reliably using the Pythagorean theorem function. The measuring units can be conveniently switched directly on the device – metric or imperial. Here too, the measuring reference point can be selected either at the front or at the back as required.
